I started wrestling when I was 5 years old for the Bixby Spartan
Wrestling Club. We were one of the strongest wrestling clubs in the
state. My elementary wrestling career ended with 6 consecutive
individual state championships. |

Started wrestling at Bixby 1983 and graduated at Bixby in 1991,
finishing 3rd in 1990 (178) and runner up in 1991 (167).
Went to Southwestern Kansas on a scholarship in 1991-1992 and played
football. |
